Jacob Maarse is truly a world class full-service florist. Flowers from all
over the world are transformed into tasteful creations of beauty to please
both commercial and individual clients wherever flowers are
needed. Known
by some as “The Rose King”, Jacob Maarse has some 3,000 rose bushes on his rose ranch in Sierra Madre. Jacob Maarse Florists has participated in the
Women’s Committee Holiday Look In home tour since its inception in 1968.
Tommy Farmer Floral Design
Tommy
Farmer specializes in creating elegant floral design for all occasions.
His work often incorporates antique linens and silver, and always reflects his background in
store display as well as art direction for the Walt Disney Company.
A native of North Carolina, Farmer began working in Pasadena in 1978. He has created the floral décor for governors' inaugurals, receptions for British royalty and multiple film and television projects.
Zagat Survey has honored Farmer as a top floral designer in Los Angeles. He has served as a judge for the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, and for the past 15 years has been showcased at the Holiday Look In home tour benefitting the Pasadena Symphony Association.
